As I go through news articles and entries on websites all over the web, I find all sorts of information. I look at what's happening for people who think like me, and the opposition they are coming up against. I then ponder these situations all damn day, and night, and day, and night, until I come to a logical basis to oppose those...opposing...arguments. Let me clarify a little. For the pro-legalization folks, we have what you could look at as a central database of anti-marijuana slogans and sayings to choose from when discussing this topic, and it has been very helpful for me to gain experience responding to the hypocrisies and fallacies, even if up to this point it has only been in my own head. Well, I was thinking again today about something I read that stuck in my mind and i believe i have an easy solution to this whole legalization battle.

Illinois' New Medican Bill
The midwest is historically behind the times when it comes to most things dealing with soceity and especially social movements. But it seems as though we may finally be catching back up. Illinois has a new medical marijuana bill in the works that is gaining support and seems like it may have a chance.

Brownies in the desert.
I've been hearing about people vaporizing their various herbal concoctions for a long time, actually since i started this journey about ten years ago. Being out here in Indiana is like being stuck at an oasis in the middle of the desert though, as I've analogized before, so the methods and tools like that have always been few and far between for me. People have had them, but i was always to paranoid of undercovers to become friends with a lot of serious stoners. So recently when the new smoke shop in town opened up, Wild Side, i saw they had a collection of vapo-pipes that seemed of reasonable quality, not just a novelty item, and reasonably priced, so of course i snatched one up.

This is the place we partied at in Denver, Hemp Hoodlamb. Check out their dotcom, they have some really nice hoodies. It's awesome to have people coming BACK to the United States though for sure.

My Crush on Russ.
Okay so that's a little misleading. I have never even met Russ in person, and who knows maybe he's a douchebag. So i can't say that i have a full-fledged man crush, but a definitely a slight infatuation. :). Just to clarify, I prefer the female gender for sexual relations, but Russ is making such a huge impact on our subculture and what will soon be a much bigger part of mainstream culture on the whole, that it's hard not to be intrigued by him.

This guy is trying to take offense at the fact that no one believes he could have smelled a professional indoor grow operation from hundreds of feet away.....what a joke. Look everyone knows that you had all this evidence piled up, maybe some hearsay, but you just needed a reason to put on the search warrant. But looking around the country it seems that smelling the odor of marijuana is starting to not be accepted as probable cause....cops will say we are taking a tool out of their arsenal, but its a tool to discriminate so that doesn't bother me one bit.

Getting high in the Mile High :)
The Norml conference in Colorado was amazing. We flew into Denver on Thursday, and the trip started a little shaky. We had to ride one bus to another bus, with not a clue as to where we were going to end up. Luckily we got directions to our hotel from a passenger on the bus, but when we walked the few blocks from the bus stop to the hotel, we found out it was the wrong one.
